Smoothies are for winter too!
Ever since injuring my ankle four months ago I haven't been able to be very active, so to put my mind at ease, I've really been trying to make healthy food choices. Step one was to pull out the blender and start creating everything from green juices to granola to smoothies. Today's post is what I call 'The Super Berry Smoothie', and it just might be the most delicious smoothy ever! (I had to name it for the sake of this post… Dave and I don't really call it 'The Super Berry Smoothie' at home!). This smoothie is one of our favourites. Packed with so many great things, it really is delicious AND nutritious.
Super Berry Smoothie. 1/2 cup natural yogurt, 1/4 cup coconut water, 1/2 cup berries (which ever you prefer, I use frozen raspberries and blueberries), 1 teaspoon LSA, 1 teaspoon chia seeds, small handful of almonds.
